Our Bondi local clients decided that they wanted to make their dream bathroom become a reality. Originally having a combination shower/bath & a large step up (180mm) from the hallway to the bathroom. Our challenge was to get a separate shower & bath within this space. We achieved this by creating a wet zone behind a frameless glass panel where the shower sits next to the bath. The floor was lowered to the same level as the hallway doing away with the step up. We also had to brick up & remove the existing window, centering a new frosted louvre window higher up the wall, centering this over the bath. The bathroom space ticked all the boxes for our client & their dream bathroom became a reality.
Project scope:
- Full bathroom strip out, lowering the floor, sealing old window & installing window.
- Change layout of fixtures by renewing drainage & installing long strip drain.
- Install new downlights, install new IXL heater/fan & LED strip lighting under vanity.
- Install new bathroom door.
- Install fixed glass panel above entrance door to bring natural light into the hallway.
- Paint ceiling, door & woodwork.
